Functionallity-on-Demand

   

Coloring-on-demand is also used to introduce functional substances into the plastic close to the surface so that they can develop their optimal effect there. Examples include UV absorbers or IR-reflecting substances, but also antibacterial or fungicidal agents.
Like Coloring-on-Demand, Functionality-on-Demand is also repeatable, so that surfaces can be "recharged".

Loading with functional substances

A careful individual case examination is necessary in every case to determine:

• under which conditions storage is possible        and whether
• unintentional migration can be avoided
• a targeted resolving is possible
• there is no unintended alternating effect with the polymer matrix or the additives.

SC only works solvent-free in aqueous media.
UV and IR absorbers have already been integrated successfully.
